Today (9 June 2025), Lt. Gen. Pongsakorn Rodchomphu, former deputy secretary-general of the National Security Council, spoke about the situation on the Thai-Cambodian border, which has begun to improve after the Cambodian side's deployment of troops. He stated that the attitude of the Minister of Defense in thanking all parties was the right thing to do. However, he also warned that from now on, all parties must not be careless and must closely monitor the situation. He also suggested that the government prepare measures covering politics, economics, psychology, and military.
